Who this killer is

The Cure arrived with the SCP-themed update on May 16, 2026. The in-game description presents a killer who thinks the world is infected and who brings "cured" patients back as quiet servants. The public trailer on the Violence District channel is dated May 12, 2026 and points at that May 16 release. The experience title on Roblox is [CURE] Violence District. Unlock cost in later guides is 15,000 Screws. One same-day article printed 1,500; treat that as a typo unless your shop shows it.

A wiki note says Site 68 is this killer's map. A May 16 gameplay chapter is also titled as the new Site 68 map.

Powers as release guides wrote them

Elucidation is available immediately. Charge a flask. Where it lands, survivors are slowed by 30% and gain Pestilence. For each infected survivor you gain 5% break and vault speed. Infection clears after 90 seconds. The throw cooldown is 15 seconds.

I Am The Cure is also available immediately. Inject a downed survivor or a corpse once per spike stage.

  • Injected before the first spike: 4% less move speed.
  • Injected after the first spike: 6% less repair speed.
  • After two spikes, a further injection is described as turning the survivor into an SCP-049-2.

Those converted survivors are listed at 9 studs per second, up to 15 while chasing someone who has Pestilence. They wander, hunt, and prefer people you are already chasing.

The lethal wording is not identical on every page. The ability guide above describes a transformation after the second spike stage. The killer's reference page calls the same moment a mini-mori: two injection charges on the final hook remove the survivor without another spike. Play the hook state you see. Do not assume both sentences add an extra kill on top of each other.

Personal perks are described as level unlocks at 15, 30, and 45, separate from the two powers.

Perk Reported effect
Foundation Staff A survivor who unspikes someone, including themselves, loses 20/30/40% healing speed for 45 seconds. The rescued survivor repairs 15% slower until healed.
Sustenance A spike grants a token. Breaking a pallet spends a token to slow survivors in your terror radius by 10% for 4/5/6 seconds and Silences them for 25/30/35 seconds, which blocks their perks.
Desire For The Living If a survivor sees your aura, you see theirs. When you gain a speed boost, your aura is shown to the nearest survivor for 3 seconds. Cooldown 40/30/20 seconds.

How to play it

Use the flask to shove survivors off a generator and into a pallet, then break that pallet. Do not live in one long loop while the other four machines finish. Injections are for downed bodies you are already committing to, not for a cross-map detour that loses three generators.

Converted survivors are extra pressure only while pallets remain. Survivor guides say a pallet stuns them and that they do not come back after they are removed. Early in the round, with every pallet up, they are easier to answer.

How to face it

Spread out so one flask does not infect the whole team. When you see the throw windup, get to a pallet or out of the cloud. Cleanse is the 90 second timer in the release guide, not a carried antidote item. Do not unhook into Foundation Staff unless the trade saves a second-stage teammate. If you are the one who was unhooked, heal before you sit on a generator, because the repair penalty lasts until you are healthy.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How many players are in a Violence District match?

A full match is six players: five survivors and one killer. That size is stated on the official experience description and on public game listings.

What are survivors trying to do?

Survivors cooperate on objectives and try to escape. Player tutorials describe seven generators on the map and an escape after five of them are completed, which powers the exit gates. The official description calls the objectives a team task and says pallets are a scarce stun resource.

Is [CURE] Violence District still in Alpha?

Yes. The official Roblox description still says the game is in Alpha and to expect bugs and changes. The developer asks for bug clips in the community server channel #bug-reports.

Which killer should a new player use?

The Slasher is free and is the documented starter. Learn generator patrol and pallet timing on that kit before spending Screws. The Cure is the expensive, more complicated unlock, widely listed at 15,000 Screws.

Where do Screws and Emblems go?

Guides describe Screws as the currency for killers, items, and perk upgrades, and Emblems as the currency for buying perks. One October 2026 progression guide says each perk costs 250 Emblems and counts 38 survivor perks and 10 killer perks. Match payouts are described as performance-based rather than a flat reward.
